Maybe you already jump side saddle or maybe you are thinking of giving it a go, but whether experienced or a novice, JumpCoach is here to help you with constructive feedback on your jumping style from one of our experienced SSA Instructors. It doesn’t matter if you have one jump or a whole course you can still submit a video for assessment and feedback.
You may already have a video of you jumping but if not, ask someone to film you jumping in landscape view from both directions, so the instructor can see you from the near and off side, including the approach and ride away. If using one or two jumps, ride and film you jumping as many times as you wish in one continuous video or, if riding a course of jumps film the whole course from start to finish. It can be over show jumps, cross country fences, straw bales or anything else that is SAFE to jump of any size. Be sure to ask the person videoing to state your name clearly at the start of the video.
Upload your video to YouTube and then submit your video for assessment by copying and pasting you YouTube link on the entry form via the Whats On page of the Just So Equestrian Events website. Our instructors will then provide you with written helpful feedback and advice based on the judging criteria used for the SSA Equitation Jumping classes.
Submit as many videos as you wish but only 1 video of 1 rider per entry please. The fee for submitting a video for feedback is £8. Submissions and payments can be made via the Just So Equestrian Events website
