Horse/pony must lead on a loose rein and not be unduly influenced by the leader
Competitors will enter the Arena at A and give a Freestyle Show not exceeding 3 minutes timed from initial halt to final halt and salute. The freestyle show must include Walk and Trot on both reins. Competitors will leave the Arena at A.
The judge will assess the correctness of the rider’s position and the influence on the horse/ pony’s way of going and the stability and balance of the saddle
NOTE: Competitors on this class may not enter the Lead Rein Equitation and another class in the same month but may progress to Classes 2 and 6 (Newcomers and Walk & Trot) in subsequent months. Please do not enter this class if you are confident off the lead rein.
